Add a Task to a Matter

There are two ways to add a Task to a Matter.

Add a Task from the Task Module

  1. Begin by selecting the Tasks module.
  2. Click the Add button.

  1. Select the Client.
  2. Pick a Matter.
  3. Select the Task Type.
  4. Select the Owner.
  5. Choose the Respond By date (or due date).
  6. Click the Add button to add Documents.
  7. Enter any Comments.
  8. Click Save.

Add a Task within a Matter

  1. Begin by selecting the Matter for which you would like to add a Task.

  1. The Matter opens. Click the Add Task for Matter button.

Notice the Client and Matter fields are already populated.

  1. Select the Task Type.
  2. Select the Owner.
  3. Choose the Respond By date.
  4. Click the Add button to add Documents.
  5. Enter any Comments.
  6. Click Save
