When adding or changing tasks, AppColl automatically updates four fields in the Matters module, the Next External Task, the Next External Task Due Date, the Next Internal Task, and the Next Internal Task due Date with information from the task with the nearest due date that has an external deadline type for a particular matter.

These fields can be useful when creating reports from the Matters module and are available in the Matters table by adding the column(s).
