When adding or changing tasks, AppColl automatically updates two fields in the Matters module, the Next External Task and the Next External Task Due Date, with information from the task with the nearest due date that has an external deadline type for a particular matter.

These fields can be useful when creating reports from the Matters module and are available in both the Matters table and when viewing a specific matter.
