The Inventions Module has a number of setup screens, visible in the Navigate section, for customizing your disclosure flow. Below is a list of each setup screen and how they function. Only patent committee members have access to these setup screens.

Awards
The Invention Manager provides an inventor awards program whereby monetary awards can be set up and tracked for inventors submitting disclosures, patent application filings, issued patents, etc. Due to the complexity of setting up the awards program, we recommend submitting requirements to us for implementation.

Disclosure Form
The Invention Disclosure Forms setup screen is used to customized the form which is used by inventors to submit disclosures. Click  (https://support.appcoll.com/edit-the-invention-disclosure-form) for specific details on this option.

Keywords
Keywords can be created and associated with the forms. Keywords used in disclosures are fully searchable. The Setup Keyword screen is used to create the keywords.

Each keyword has a name and a description, which are visible to inventors from the disclosure form. Adding one or more keywords to a disclosure can be mandatory or optional. Inventors can optionally request new keywords or create their own by checking the appropriate check boxes. Lastly, a keyword can be disabled, without deleting it, if it becomes obsolete.

Products
Products can be created and associated with the forms. Products are searchable such that all disclosures including one or more products can be quickly found. The Setup Products screen is used to create the products.

Each product has a name, description, version (optional), and optional dates (i.e., On Sale, NDA, and Public Disclosure). Adding one or more products to a disclosure can be mandatory or optional. Inventors can optionally request new products or create their own by checking the appropriate check boxes. Lastly, a product can be disabled, without deleting it, if it becomes obsolete.

Scoring
A Scoring Matrix can be created whereby persons associated with a disclosure can provide a numeric score and comments on the disclosure. Click https://support.appcoll.com/edit-the-scoring-matrix for specific details on this option.

Technologies
Technologies can be created and associated with the forms. Technologies are searchable such that all disclosures including one or more products can be quickly found. The Setup Technologies screen is used to create them.

Each Technology has a name, description, and an optional parent technology category. Adding one or more technologies to a disclosure can be mandatory or optional. Inventors can optionally request new technologies or create their own by checking the appropriate check boxes. Lastly, a technology can be disabled, without deleting it, if it becomes obsolete.

Please Note: Inventors can select multiple keywords, products and technologies when creating a disclosure.

Review Meetings
Patent committee review meetings can be set up for committee members to discuss disclosures by clicking the Setup Review Meetings link.

Each meeting can have a description, date/time, duration, presenter, relevant disclosure and notes.
