The Invent Module looks different depending on the login type accessing the Module. For example, inventors have a very limited view while account administrators can see everything.
Inventor View
When inventors log in to AppColl, they don't see any of the Prosecution Manager module such as Tasks, Matters, Files, etc. They only see a table of disclosures where they are an inventor (primary or co-inventor). Each row represents a disclosure. Inventors cannot add additional columns of information as is standard with Prosecution Manager. They also cannot export or download any data. For each disclosure, inventors can see the Reference, any actions they need to take on a disclosure, the current status, the title and the inventors. Notice John Doe only sees disclosures where he is listed as an inventor.
Account admins see "Invent" as a new module which works like all other AppColl modules, as shown below. Admins see every disclosure created. Any value shown in the action column applies to the person logged in. No actions are seen for other users. It is possible that account admins wouldn't have any actions to take on disclosure, particularly if they aren't attorneys. However, admins can edit the contents of disclosures (i.e., add/remove inventors, add/remove documents, add/remove comments and change the answers to questions.), manually change the status or delete them. Admins can also enable logins for inventors via the "Request Disclosures" button which, by default, is not available for non-admins.
Non-Admin View
By default, all prosecution manager logins have access to the Invent Module. The default permissions allow for viewing all disclosures, add/remove inventors, add/remove documents and adding comments. However, non-admins cannot delete disclosures, edit the questions or change the status. As stated above, the only person who can take action on a disclosure is the assigned attorney.
