Send a Calendar Entry for a Task

The steps to add a calendar entry for a task are simple.

  1. Go to the Tasks module.
  2. Click the Calendar icon for the task for which you wish to send a calendar entry. 

  1. The Send Calendar Entry window opens. Make the appropriate selection in the Send To options to send the entry to the Task Owner, or enter the Email Address(es) for the recipient(s).
  2. The Subject will auto-populate. Update as needed.
  3. Optional: Enter a Location
  4. The Date will default to the Respond By date. You may update the Date field if needed. You may also choose to select All day event if desired.
  5. Choose a Time for the calendar invite.
  6. Choose a Duration for the invite. 
  7. Click the Send button. 

The recipients of the invite will receive the calendar entry as an email where they have the option to RSVP and add the invite to their calendar.
