An AppColl Tandem account is a no cost, secure way to get access to information about your IP portfolio currently managed by outside counsel.
Create Your Tandem Account
- You will receive an email invitation with a link to create your Tandem account. Click the here link to create your free account.
- Review your Email, First Name, and Last Name fields. If any of these are incorrect, ask the person who sent you the invite to correct and resend. If the information is correct, enter a Password noting the password requirements below.
- Enter your password again in the Retype Password field.
- Click the Setup Login to… button. You may then be prompted to re-enter your email and password to log in.
- Review the AppColl Service Agreement and click I Agree.
Tandem Account Overview
- Click the Home icon at any time to access the main Dashboard. The Home module provides a graphical snapshot of your data.
- To edit a view, click the Pencil icon to select from options.
- The Edit Chart window will open. Select from the Data dropdown options as available.
- Choose from the Type options. Note that different Type options may appear based upon your initial selection.
- Click the Ok button. Your selection will now stay in place when you log out and log back in.
- Hover over and click into the Data Element to drill down into the data and open the corresponding page. In the example below, this would be open tasks by Lilly Blossom.
- To open a module, select if from the top of the page. Click the Tasks module.
- Review all open tasks that are shared with you. To view more information about a task, select the Task.
- In the Make Changes section, you have the ability to manually add a Task. To do so, click the Add button. Note that you may only edit or delete a Task you created.
- Work with the options in the Change View section to filter your views or save a view as a report.
- Click the Matters module.
- Review all shared matters. To view more information about a matter, select the Matter.
- Manually add a matter by clicking the Add button. Note that like in the Tasks module, you may only edit or delete matters that your create.
- Work with the filters in the Change View section as needed.
- Below is an example of a Matter Details page. Review information on each Tab as needed.
- Click the Cancel button to return to the Matters page.
- Click the Files module.
- Select a Folder to drill into the contents.
- Add folders or upload files in the Make Changes section. Note you may only work with other permissions if you added the folder or upload.
- Work with the filters in the Change View section as needed.
- Click the Contacts module.
- Select a Contact to view their information.
- Add contacts by clicking the Add button. Note you may only delete contacts whom you've added.
- Work with the filters in the Change View section as needed.
